Because today was a sunny day we went out to do the class in the playground.
The teacher has brought a magic box from which many songs came out. All together we have sung and danced.
Then we searched the hidden shapes for the whole playground.
These weeks ago we have been singing so many funny songs and one of our favorite is this one:
After hearing we play a role play:
“What do you like to do?”
I like ridding bike, reading a book, drawing, climbing…
Last Tuesday we had a theater show about the story of “Beauty and the Beast” but not like the movie or the traditional story. We really enjoyed and we loved the songs.
Here you have so pictures that can prove that!
Thanks to this wonderful story we could learned more incredible words like: chair, table, bed or soup! We can also ask to the teacher to go to the toilette in English too! It’s easy!
Look! Here we have finished the activity!
Do know the story of Goldilocks and the three bears? Is about one little girl who was walking in the forest and she saw a house. As she was tired and hungry, she decided to go inside. But this house has owners… can you guess who?
After watching the story and talk about it, we make an artistic activity to take home.
5th grade are improving their speaking so one of the activities of this 3rd term will be an interview! If you want to see them how wonderful they are just click over their names and the link will open.
I’m very proud of them and their capacity to don’t be afraid in front of the camera. It’s very difficult to talk when there are people listening to you
There is no better way to learn something than doing it yourself and this is what they are doing in this video. Most of the days, they act like teacher making the lesson themselves.
P5 love role play in the playground! So they played in groups, practicing the numbers and improving the relationship each other.
Here you have a part of this exiting moment.
In English we have a theory about learning and play. We believe that they learn much more enjoying the moment and more if it is between partners.
With the “time cards” today they have been in charge of directing the activity, asking each other and , as always, being the protagonist. It has been fun and interesting to see how they try harder to learn and communicate with their peers without the presence of the teacher.
